Billie C. Westerfield, 71, of Crawford, passed away Thursday, March 18, 2010, in a local hospital. Funeral services were held Monday at the Canaan Baptist Church near Crawford. Interment will be at the Crawford Cemetery under the direction of Foss
Funeral Home. Westerfield was born August 14, 1938, in McLennan County. He was the son of Carl and Rosemary (Pollard) Westerfield. He was married to LaJuana Hawkins on June 27, 1958, in Crawford. He had formerly worked for Rocketdyne, Central Freight, and Crawford I.S.D. He loved hunting, his cattle, family, and friends. He was a member of Canaan Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father and a daughter, Ginger Martin.
Survivors included his wife LaJuana Westerfield of Crawford, his mother; Rosemary Westerfield; a son, Lane Westerfield and wife, Greta, of Crawford; 5 grandchildren, Shanda Harrison, Bethani Stanford both of Waco, Jacob, Sara, and Luke Westerfield all of Crawford.
